Strength of the Next Generation

Hello, and thank you for joining us for a few inspirational moments and loving conversations with C. Melita Webb.

Today we discuss the growth, opportunity, and resilience in the next generation. I want to send love and appreciation to the wonderful men who welcomed me and facilitated the community group a few days ago.

The first gentleman Demitrius Beaumont, aka Spaceman has become part of our family.  He and his cherished children are part of the daily joy in my heart. He is an amazing father, community activist, rapper/singer/songwriter, barber, and so much more. He has blessed our lives for 15+ years.

The second gentleman, Mr. J. Reese. I have never met before but I could hear his genuine, welcoming heart and the strength of his love for others. There is a humbled grace to the blessed way he imparts knowledge and shares his essence. My hope and prayer is that you hear their hearts and one day meet their greatness. We are all better by them being in our communities and enacting change.

Thank you both for helping me a smile, warming my heart, honoring me with respect, love and your blessed presence in my life. Your interaction helped one of my greatest desires to come true. I now feel like a true “mother of the community.”
